My name is John Walter.

I am a research associate at Texas Tech University in the Electrical Engineering Pulsed Power Lab.

Railgun - A small tabletop demonstration railgun
Hall effect thruster - My master's thesis project: a low-power Hall effect thruster (ion thruster for satellites)
Fire Fighting Robot - Initially a lab project, now more of an obsession - a robot built to compete in the Trinity College Home Fire Fighting Robot contest
1970 Mustang fastback - Basket case that I obtained for about $400 cash and some parts.
